Early Childhood Mentoring- Supporting New Teachers and Family Child Care Providers. Outcomes for Mentors:
Professional Development-mentors define their own developmentally appropriate educational philosophies Developing and Modeling Early Childhood Leadership Skills-through professional behavior, advocacy skills for the improvement of early childhood environments. Collaboration-networking with early childhood professionals and colleagues Building and Enhancing Credentials for Mentors-creating foundations in key areas of Knowledge.
Training specialized for the individual need of mentors. Institute is 3-5 days. May include college credit or continuing education units. Leadership and mentoring materials will be included.
