Assessment Center

Employers are becoming increasingly aware of the need for some form of testing to assure a good selection of workers. By opting for pre-employment testing you raise your chances of finding qualified workers for hiring, training, or promotion. Also with pre-employment testing you have a better idea of each applicant's knowledge.

The Madisonville Community College Assessment Center offers several different assessment tools to accommodate the needs of individual companies, including:

GED
COMPASS
Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE)
16PF (Personality Test)
Myers / Briggs (Personality Test)
Bennett Mechanical Test
Wonderlic Personnel Test
SAGE (general learning, verbal ability, numerical ability, spatial ability, form perception, clerical perception, motor coordination, finger dexterity, manual dexterity, eye/hand/foot coordination, and color coordination)
Middle School Assessments in Hopkins, Muhlenberg, Crittenden, Caldwell, and Trigg Counties
National Occupational Competency Test (NOTCI)
Kentucky Vocational Achievement Test (KVAT)
Testing for the Department of Workers Claims
Reasoning, Math, and Language (RML) - gives an approximate grade level in these three areas
Job Temperament - defines the factors involved in how an individual likes to go about doing a job
Work Attitude - indicator scale ranges from a very positive to a very negative work attitude
Vocational Interest Inventory - measures an individual's vocational interests in twelve interest areas
Cite Learning Styles Inventory - defines a person's preferred style of learing

You may also receive Information Technology certifications via the Internet. The Madisonville Community College Assessment Center is a VUE Authorized Testing Center.
