A Look at the Early Alert System

Research shows that early alert programs increase student success. Madisonville Community College revised its advising process to include both technological and procedural components of an early alert system, and the results were positive. The system provides a means for faculty and student support services to efficiently collaborate to promote student success.

Online Orientation - Making the Most of New Student Orientation

How do you orient new students in an efficient manner while still reviewing all the information they should know? Madisonville Community College revised the "parade of personnel" orientation to a two-phase model. Students review information through an online orientation, then come to campus prepared for small group advising and registration. Come see how it works!
