Transfers from MCC to Four Year College

Being undecided about your major or the future transfer college makes this topic complicated. Otherwise the solution is quite simple.

Two tools make the transfer of classes simple, namely the Course Availability System (CAS) web page and the college catalog where you want to transfer. Lay out a list of classes required by the transfer college. Then use CAS to find the course numbers at MCC that corresponds to the courses at the transfer college.

Study the catalog of the transfer college to discover the requirement for residency hours, or the number of hours the transfer college requires the student to attend on the transfer college campus.

To use CAS, log on as Guest, select Course Equivalents, in step 1 select a Kentucky college, in step 2, enter Henderson Community College (MCC not working), in step 3 click add for HCC and then add schools, in step 4 click create guide, then select course prefixes to display courses correponding the institutions.

Murray State University

Murray offers degrees in several program areas. Students may attend all the courses at MCC. Do not be misled by the program name, "2+2 Programming MCC to MSU". The student does not spend two years at Madisonville and then two years to Murray. MSU offers all the courses are the MCC north campus.
