Humanities Curriculum
The Humanities Division offers courses that fulfill General Education requirements for students pursuing Associate degrees and for students planning to transfer to four year institutions. In addition, division faculty teach students enrolled in Academic Success, Developmental Reading, and Developmental Writing classes. Faculty teach courses in the disciplines of Anthropology, Art, Communications, English Composition, Foreign Language, History, Literature, Music, Philosophy, Political Science, Religion, Sociology, Theatre, and Women’s Studies. Faculty also serve as academic advisors for students planning to major in these disciplines as well as for other transfer students and students who are undecided about their majors.
