Our Mission
The mission of the Madisonville Community College Libraries is to:
Provide materials, services, and equipment which support the curriculum of the college and address the needs of students, faculty, professional staff and staff
Provide both formal and point-of-use instruction so students
- Learn about available tools which can help them locate information
- Develop search statements and strategies to help them clarify the information needed
- Determine where to search by comparing, evaluating, and selecting specific sources which are likely to contain the desired information
- Evaluate the quality of information or resources located
- Reformulate search strategies as needed
Provide services such as circulation of materials, interlibrary loan, and reference
