Program Description

The integrated Nursing program provides a seamless educational curriculum in nursing with two exit points allowing students to choose a career as a LPN or RN. Students who successfully complete the first year of nursing can elect to take the LPN exam by successfully completing NIP140 which provides PN role identification and additional clinical experience. Upon completion they will receive a diploma qualifying them to apply for licensure as practical nurses. Following the successful completion of the second year, students will receive the Associate in Applied Science degree in Nursing, qualifying them to apply for licensure as registered nurses.
