Dr. Judith Rhoads became president of Madisonville Community College on July 1, 1998. Under her leadership, we have:
- Student learning and accountability the major college focus
- Consolidation of colleges - Madisonville Community College / Madisonville Technical College
- Enrollment increased each semester for five semesters
- Two new buildings for college – Funding for new Technology building
- Number of grant initiatives increased / Appointed a grant writer - Title III / HRSA / NSF Grants
- Strengthened work in the area of business and industry
- Increased programs and effectiveness of current programs
- School Counts! initiative
- Rhoads’ Scholar Teams (73 faculty and staff in 21 schools)
- P-16 Council
- WorkKeys Initiatives
- Mining Advisory Committee Initiative
