Program Description
The Business Administration program prepares students for a variety of business careers. A core curriculum provides a foundation of knowledge applicable to any business career. Students select an area of specialty from one of four options:
- Accounting
- Human Resource Management
- Management
- Office Systems

Employment Opportunities
The curriculum is designed for those who seek entry-level jobs as well as for currently employed individuals wishing to enhance their skills.
- The Accounting Option leads to careers in accounting including bookkeeper, accounting clerk, cost payroll clerk, and positions using microcomputer-based systems.
- The Management Option prepares the student with broad-based management knowledge and skills which lead to a variety of positions in organizations.
- The Office Systems Option prepares the student with a broad base of knowledge and skills needed for a variety of positions in an office.
Admission Requirements:
The following should be submitted to the Office of Admissions for admission to this program:
- Application for admission
(154 K) - High School transcript or GED
- ACT, COMPASS, or ASSET scores
- Transcripts of all previous college work
- Age verification (must be 16 years of age)
Length of Program
Your degree will be an Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration with an emphasis option. You will take a core set of classes before branching out into your specialty area. The program requires 62-70 credit hours, and a student enrolled full-time for four semesters can typically complete the requirements for graduation.
